Mark Cuban is a billionaire entrepreneur and co-star/investor on the hit ABC television series SharkTank, a reality TV show that allows entrepreneurs to make business pitches to potential investors. After selling his company, Broadcast.com, for $5.7 billion in 1999, Cuban first entered the public spotlight after purchasing a majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks. Known for his passionate sideline support during games, he quickly turned around the struggling team, leading them to an NBA Championship in 2011. In addition to his stake in the Mavericks, Mr. Cuban also owns several other businesses, including AXS TV, Landmark Theaters, independent film distributor Magnolia Pictures and his most recent venture Cyber Dust, a mobile app company designed to protect users’ digital privacy.
